1. Emulate My Love
I had an idea for this song lyrically, but as soon as the song was finished musically I just new it had to have a different feel so I sat down and rewrote the lyrics. And there you have it. The arrangement is a bit different to the norm with a pre chorus added.

2. Baby
Well this one of course was written about a beautiful baby boy whom I love dearly. The words were written a year or so before the song. When we wrote this piece of music the lyrics just seemed to fit in perfectly. Like it was meant to be. It’s kinda funky.

3.  Give me Wings
This is the very first song I recorded with Andy but it started out as a ballad. Never really liked it. Made a few lyrical changes then completely scrapped the music and rewrote it
In your face and passionate. Its a beauty.

4. Ain't no Cruise
Well this all came together really quickly and easily and I laugh every time I hear it. It’s a fab song.

5. Pulsing Beat
I had this urge to write something with a dance feel that was uplifting.  The music was written first and the words just came to me after listening to the music a few times.
Love singing this song.

6. Temptation
This song started out totally different than it is now. We wrote some music that Andy liked so he used the original version and we changed my version to suit me. I changed the lyrics a few times and ummed and ahhed until I found these lyrics which I had written a few years back. They work perfectly.

7. Someone
The lyrics to Someone were written one night in the wee hours of the morning while I was sitting out the back drinking champers and smoking cigars. We then wrote the music to fit with the lyrics a couple of weeks later. I love this song. Everyone has someone special they can relate this song to.

8. Shards of Heart
I wrote the words to this song around the beginning of 2001. I then sat on them for over a year until we wrote a piece of music which just worked. A very strong song with lots of passion.

9. Broken Love
We wrote the music first for this song, then I sat on it for a few weeks deciding what feel the song needed to have. I had written some words whilst travelling around Australia which I pulled apart and put back together giving you Tortured Mind. It’s groovy

10. Short Relief
The lyrics to this song were written late one night while I was drinking champers and smoking cigars AGAIN and contemplating life in general. The words wrote themselves. The music just seemed to fall into place a few weeks later. Funny that. It’s a real mood song.

11.  Stained
I wrote the lyrics first for this song and then we put the music to it. I wanted the song to be deep dark and sad but with passion which I think we achieved. One of my favourites.

12. Sweet Revenge
The melody and the lyrics to this song were banged out on a keyboard in my lounge room years ago. There have been a few small adjustments to the music since then. But it’s basically how it was originally written. I’m not sure what inspired me to write the words but I still think they're fantastic.
